The JP of Doom is our replica of the late 60’s J set as made popular by a certain fretless Jazz bassist. The bridge pickup especially is wound a little hotter to really bring out the pronounced midrange desired by musicians in this genre.
Both pickups are a stacked noiseless design featuring our 3D printed bobbins. These bobbins are printed using recycled materials!
As these are a stacked design, only the top coil closest to the strings is really “picking up” your bass’ sound and tone, the bottom coil is purely there to buck the hum!
